Do you manufacture other types of windows?+
Box Sash hand-crafts timber box sash, sash and casement windows, alongside French doors and entrance doors. The range also includes shaped, feature and heritage work.
Will my new windows be painted?+
Yes. The current Box Sash FAQ describes a seven-coat microporous paint finish, with colour selected during the survey. Different colours can be specified inside and outside.
Can you copy my existing window design?+
Yes. Bespoke manufacture allows curved, bowed, Gothic, arched and other shaped windows to be matched to existing character and proportions.
Will new windows improve draught exclusion?+
Modern seals and double glazing are used to improve thermal and acoustic performance while retaining traditional proportions.
What guarantees apply?+
Box Sash currently states a 50-year guarantee on qualifying window frames and up to 10 years on glazing units, subject to its guarantee terms.
Where are the products made?+
Box Sash states that its products are hand-crafted in a 25,000 sq ft UK-based joinery.
