Handmade in Britain since 1979
Craftsmanship with enough discipline to disappear into the building.
Box Sash combines traditional timber joinery with modern glazing, security and performance from a 25,000 sq ft UK joinery.

A workshop, not a catalogue
The product starts with the house.
Survey, proportions, mouldings, glazing, hardware and colour are developed as one specification. That is what lets a new window or door feel natural in a period room or on a formal façade.
Modern performance matters, but it should not flatten the detail that made the original architecture worth keeping.

How the joinery is developed
From measured opening to finished joinery
Bespoke manufacture allows the frame, glazing pattern, mouldings, hardware, paint and glass to be developed as one specification. This matters most when new work has to sit alongside original period details.
Box Sash's published information describes solid hardwood construction, bespoke mouldings and a range of glazing and hardware options, all produced through its UK-based joinery.
